Today I made a Masculine birthday card with the contends of door 10. The inside message came from the verses collection and the front greeting was from my stash. The technique I used can be used on any size of card. If I say more it will give away what is behind the door.
Materials used
Crafter’s Companion 2022 Advent Calendar Contents of Door 10
White cardstock
Brown cardstock
Black cardstock
Green 5x7 card base from the Caring Thoughts collection
Sentiments from the Verses collection
Gina K Amalgam ink-Obsidian
Gina K Kraft ink pad
Pink and Main black enameled dots
Paper measurements
5x7 Card base
6 ¾ x 4 ¾ mat
5x7 heavy brown cardstock
4x6 white paper for the inside
4 1/8 x 6 1/8 mat for the inside
Directions
1.Emboss the top and bottom of the brown cardstock leaving the center smooth. You will have to emboss 2 times for the top and 2 times for the bottom to cover the entire width of the card.
2. Trim the card to 4 ½ x 6 ½
3.Stamp the greeting to the front smooth area of the card.
4. Glue to the mat layer then to the card front.
5. Use enameled dots in the corners and on either side of the greeting.
6. Stamp the white 4x6 with the inside message
7. Glue to the mat and then the inside of the card.
