Today's 5x5 bendy card started life as a 5x7 but part way through paking it I realized the proportions were a little off so it got a 2 in hair cut. A bendy card is a card made from a panel scored in half and a short panel in front of it that is not scored. When the card is opened, the scored panel will bend causing the front panel to dome. What’s nice about this type of card is how flat it fits in the envelope yet is a domed card when opened.
I inked the background then attached the topper and greeting to the front panel. A message is stamped in the top right corner. Don’t score the panel before you ink it up because it will leave a dark line when you ink.
I really like the contents of today’s door. I don’t have a stamp like it and it is something I can get a lot of use out of.

White card
Gina K power blue
Gina K grass green
Oval nesting dies
“Thanks” die from stash
Triblends- blue grey, red blend, turquoise blue blend, Gold brown blend, green grey blend, green turquoise
Paper measurements
5x5 white card (don’t score yet)
1 x6 white card scored at ½ and 5 1/2
Directions
1. Ink the 5x5 card with the power blue for the sky and green grass for the grass. The grass should go up about 1 ½ inches from the bottom.
2. Ink the 1 x 6 in green.
3. Stamp and the stamp and die cut a nesting die around it.
4. Die cut the mat for the stamp.
5. Glue the mat and layer together.
6. Die cut the thanks and its mat, glue together
7.Score the 5 x5 panel at 2 ½
8. Stamp the message in the top righthand side of the 5x5 panel.
9.Place the 1 x 6 on top of the 5x5 panel and fold the ½ tabs to the back of the card and glue flush with the bottom of the card.
