Today it was all about the wax paper technique. If you haven’t seen this before, you emboss wax paper then use an iron to transfer the wax to cardstock then ink over it. The wax acts as a resist leaving the embossing pattern behind. This is even a two for because the wax paper is coated on both sides you will be the positive and negative of the embossing folder. So, you end up with 2 cards instead of one.
Here are a few things to remember
Cover the wax paper sandwich with a piece of paper to protect your iron from the wax.
Place a piece of paper under the wax paper sandwich to protect your surface.
Iron on a hard surface not an ironing board. The hole in the ironing board will show on the paper.
Iron for about 15 seconds or so.
Make sure the steam is turned off.
