Easter Train Slimline-Pink and Main

Every month Pink and Main has a wonderful stamp of the month and February is was this cute bunny train. I thought a slimline would be the best shape card to fit all the cars on the card. The stamps are colored with Copic markers and the background is water colored. I used 1/16 thick foam to attach the stamps. The grass is a die from my stash, any grass die will do.

Materials used

Pink and Main /easter train stamp and dies

Crafter’s Companion Water colored ink jars in green and sparkle blue

Grass die from stash

Water colored paper 3 ½ x 8 1/2

Yellow paper 3 ¾ x 8 ¾

Blue heavy weight cardstock 8 x 9 folded to 4 x 9 for card base

Copic markers

1/16 foam tape

White card for sentiments

Directions

1. Fold the blue heavy cardstock into 4x9

2. Spritz the water-colored paper with water then color the bottom inch green and the rest blue and set aside to dry or dry with a heat tool.

3. Stamp and die cut the Pink and Main Easter train cars. Apply foam to the back.

4. Stamp the “Sending Easter Joy” on a ¾ x 2 white cardstock and layer with a 1 x 2 1/8 green paper

5. Stamp the “Some bunny loves you” on a 3 ½ x 1 ½ white cardstock and layer with a 3 5/8 x 1 5/8 green

6.Die cut enough grass to cover the front of the card. (I needed 2)

7. Once the water-colored background is dry glue it to the yellow 3 ½ x 8 ½ paper and then glue it to the card base.

8. Attach the train to the water-colored background.

9. Glue the grass to the bottom of the train.

10.Glue the “Sending Easter Joy” to the top right.

11. Glue “Some bunny Loves You” to the inside.
